I just finished this one and loved it. The beast is Thorne Blackmore, an IT genius working on AI technology. Chelsea Appleby worked for him, absconded with $300,000.00 and disappeared. Thorne has looked for her for two years. When he finds her he gives her options: 1) He can go to the police OR 2) Chelsea can give him all of her for three months to do with as he will. Chelsea chooses door #2. Thus, we begin a very engaging and informational story. The reader gets both POV’s and some background to why Chelsea has done the things she’s done and, on the way, Thorne and Chelsea fall in love through their mutual “hate.” There may be triggers. Surprises abound. Will the beast remain so?...
WOW the way Ms. Le Carre writes the build up to the sex scenes has you spellbound. Such a good story, but “wait there’s more…” In my version I got, YOU DON’T KNOW ME and SEXY BEAST as well as a few chapters of two others. I’ve already read SEXY BEAST and let me tell you…HOT! I’m fanning myself…SO recommended!

A fantastic bundle to read. Blackmailed by the Beast was dramatic and angst filled. Hella sexy with plenty of heart wrenching twists and turns. You Don't Know Me was sexy, dramatic, funny and action packed. If you like Mafia books then this is a good book to read. The last book was Sexy Beast and yes it lives up to its name. Full of drama, angst and oh so tingle worthy sex. Lots of WTF moments. And a parts that will bring you to your knees with tears. A new author for me but I'm addicted to these stories.
Excellent read—now I want more! Thorne was very captivating. I loved his intense obsession with Chelsea. The story I started reading in the first chapter turned out completely different than I had originally thought. I first thought Thorne was a gangster but he might just be scarier than any mafioso I’ve read about. The guy is freakishly smart and dangerous because of it. If not for Chelsea’s sane influence, he could be considered the worst villain known to man. Still I absolutely loved the way it turned out. Nice surprise. Although there was a nice HEA with an epilogue that tied up the romance just the way I like it, the last few pages AFTER the Epilogue scared me spitless! Seriously I had a major bout of anxiety, dread and an intense need to know more. No worries—the romance was perfect. No, this was an external plot point that needs to—no MUST be—told. Wow...just wow. Didn’t see that coming.

Dear Author, please don’t end it here!!!! I need to know what this means!!! It has to be the best cliffhanger I’ve read in a book that’s a romance novel.

When is Book 2 going to be out????
I guess I was in a fairy tale type of mood when I picked this up, and I was hooked by the description. However, after actually reading it, I'm left scratching my head since the story had NOTHING to do with the blurb. It could have been a good sort of re-telling of Beauty and the Beast, had the author just stuck to the description of the story. Instead, we got a story about a girl who had a horrid time after her father died (which, means this part of the blurb "I dreamed of sacrificing myself for my father, and bravely going to an enchanted castle to live with the Beast" makes even less sense.)

The story started off interesting enough, but it slowly went down from there. Characters seem to disappear and then reappear randomly, with no other mentions throughout the story. One character was mentioned once, and then never again until very briefly at the end so by that point in the story, I had no idea who they were even referring to.

I did feel for Chelsea, but I feel like I hardly got to know anything about Thorne throughout the whole book, other than that he's rich because of working with artificial intelligence, and gave her a big closet. I almost wish the author had just stuck to Chelsea's POV and not bothered with Thorne's at all.

The story could have used better editing, too. At one point, I was reading Thorne's POV, and then he started saying "Thorne said this" and "Thorne said that"- when it should have read, "CHELSEA said this" and "CHELSEA said that." I guess even the author forgot whose POV she was writing at the time. All the more reason why Chelsea should have been the sole narrator.

Like I said, this could have been great and started off with promise but the plot became convoluted and went so off track from the book's original description that it became a confusing mess. Three stars for the blurb alone. I just wish the story had measured up to the promise put forth by the blurb. The blurb was obviously just used to hook fans of "Beauty and the Beast"-type stories- which in my case, it succeeded.
How this got such high reviews is beyond me. They don’t give any history between the two yet they completely fall in love in less than three months. Also, they never tell if they catch her dad’s murderer. Really disappointed in this book because the little synopsis sounded so good. This book could have been great but the author needs to give backstory more and character building. All the stuff that happened in the book was all of the sudden. One second she is at his home and the next he makes her go meet the parents. Plus it comes with like 4 other books which makes me angry. Put that in the synopsis because it completely caught me by surprise.
